Rapper Kodak Black arrested again in Broward County

Broward County, Fla — Rapper Kodak Black, whose real name is Dieuson Octave, was arrested Thursday night after Broward County Sheriff's deputies raided his home.

Kodak has a well documented history of legal disputes and was already on strict probation after leaving jail in June 2017.

He was arrested twice in Broward County in 2016. In 2015, he was arrested in Pompano Beach on charges of robbery, battery, two counts of false imprisonment of a child under 13 years of age, three counts of false imprisonment of an adult, driving with a suspended license and possession of marijuana.

Kodak even documented a portion of the police raiding his home on his Instagram account, which has more than 5 million followers.  Records show the 20-year-old rapper is facing charges of grand theft of a firearm, possession of marijuana, child neglect, two counts of possession of a weapon by a felon and two counts of probation violation.

Monday, Kodak released a video for his "Roll In Peace" single with rapper Jahseh Onfroy, better known as XXXTentacion. The video, shows Kodak throwing cash on a courthouse floor.  Onfroy is having legal problems of his own and is schedule  to appear in Miami-Dade County court Jan. 24.
