This horrifying ‘Chicken Teddy Bear’ was for sale on Facebook Marketplace

NEW ORLEANS, LOUISIANA — If you’ve ever wondered what nightmares are made of, this is it.

Some New Orleans residents looking for good deals on Facebook Marketplace recently stumbled across a very bizarre post for ‘chicken teddy bears.’

According to the post, ‘Maggie from Metairie’ can make two bears from just one raw chicken. If she supplies the chicken, it will cost you $35. If YOU supply your own chicken, it’ll only cost you $25. Oh, and it’s also ‘edible and can be cooked. Great family activity.’

Of course, this Frankenstein-ish, toybox terror went viral with many viewers saying it was a fake and that the raw chicken bear in the photo was actually a creation by  Russian artist Viktor Ivanov back in 2013.

The post has since been deleted, but fortunately  News 96.5 WDBO has these screenshots to keep the nightmare alive. You’re welcome.
