Orlando, Fla. — Disney World doused Cinderella’s castle with blue lights last night as a tribute to the nurses and doctors around the world who continue to tackle the COVID-19 health crisis.
Tuesday, April 7, was World Health Day and a Disney blog said the gesture was “a salute to medical personnel on behalf of all Walt Disney World Resort Cast Members during these challenging times.”
We are uniting around the globe in a message of thanks and appreciation to celebrate the health heroes who are helping so many. 💙Cinderella Castle shines blue, as a beacon of hope and gratitude. https://t.co/6W8IVlGJHC
